Class of 2024 Graduates and Families
You received an important email from Mrs. Bryant and the Counseling team about your diploma status and completing the final Senior Survey in Schoolinks. Please check your email and reach out to your School Counselor if you have any questions.
Senior students have a REQUIRED task in Schoolinks. This final survey is Due May 1st.
Have a fun, relaxing and safe Spring Break! The counseling office will be closed March 25th – 29th. We will return with students on Monday, April 1st.

Need Help with Classes/Tutoring?
Are you struggling in your classes as we start 4th quarter? Do you need help understanding the material? Lakota East has two TUTORING opportunities:
- Hawk Time: get a pass from your HT teacher and go to rm 268 for tutoring in any subject.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays @3:00 Math tutoring/help in room 216, after school.

Graduation Requirements:
Counselors are meeting with Juniors to share information on the Requirements to Graduate in Lakota. Click on the Graduation Requirements Presentation which reviews credits, state graduation seals and testing information. Or scan the QR code to view the presentation.
Juniors
The Lakota Optimist Club is looking for outstanding, well-rounded junior students to be nominated for our Lakota Optimist “Student of the Month” recognition program. We’re looking for young people who are accomplished in the classroom as well as in involved in a variety of school and community activities. If you are a junior who is interested in this opportunity, please contact your school counselor!
Military Commitment Ceremony
The deadline for seniors to register their intent to participate in Lakota’s annual Military Commitment Ceremony has changed. We ask that any senior who has committed, or is in the process of committing, to service complete this short Google form or sign up with your school counselor by March 22. The form is also available on the “seniors” page of the Lakota East, Lakota West and Lakota Central high schools’ websites.
The annual ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23 at the Lakota East Freshman School to celebrate these members of the Class of 2024 at our seventh annual Military Commitment Ceremony. The program will begin at 7 p.m. in the theater.
