Counselors Corner - October 17, 2025
Butler Tech Partnership Day
Butler Tech will be at Lakota East on Wednesday, October 29th for Partnership Day. All sophomores will be called down to the Theater to view a presentation about Butler Tech and the programs that they offer to students. Sophomores should make sure they are in attendance on 10/29 in order to see the presentation and learn how to sign up for the Butler Tech field trip that will be held in November.
Mark your calendars for October 23rd Information sessions at Lakota East Main Campus
- Class of 2027-2029 families are encouraged to attend a session to hear about Butler Tech and our partnership with the programs at Butler Tech 5:00pm-6:00pm in the Innovation HUB.
- Class of 2026 students bring your computer and come meet with the School Counselors for a College Application help session 5:00pm-7:00pm in the Flexible Learning Space on Main Street.
- Class of 2026 Parents/Guardians are invited and encouraged to attend an informational meeting on College Financing and the FAFSA 6:00pm-7:00pm in the Theater.
ASVAB
The ASVAB will be held at Lakota East H.S. on Wednesday, November 5th from 8:30 to 11:30 am in the Innovation Hub. Students can Sign up here on your Lakota device. See Mrs. Bryant in the Counseling Office to sign up or ask questions.

The School Counselors are here to help you with college applications. We will be available in the Flexible Learning Space on Main Street during Hawk Time on the following dates in October: 1st, 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th
