Graduation Information

Graduation Ticket Request Form

All students will receive 8 tickets for Graduation at the Cintas Center. Students may request additional tickets using the Graduation Ticket Request link. This link will remain open until May 14th, but we strongly encourage families to submit requests early. Only students can submit this form, as this helps prevent multiple family submissions. Please make sure your family discusses and agrees on the amount of tickets needed before the student submits the request.

There is no cost for graduation tickets; however, Xavier University provides us with a limited number of seats. For this reason, we are capping each student at 20 tickets. This limit also helps ensure the ceremony remains focused on celebrating our graduates and their immediate family members, which is the intended purpose of Lakota East’s graduation ceremony.

If your family has a unique circumstance and needs more than 20 tickets, you may email Mr. MacFarlane directly, and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis (matthew.macfarlane@lakotaonline.com).

To make sure all loved ones can still be part of this milestone, the ceremony will be livestreamed for extended family and friends who wish to watch from home.

Graduation Attire

  1. All participants must wear the official Lakota East Graduation Cap and Gown. These are rental garments which must be returned immediately following our ceremony. Parents are encouraged to take all photos prior to the ceremony.
  2. Males will wear black caps and gowns. Gentlemen should wear a collared dress shirt, dark slacks, and nice shoes. Jeans, shorts, tennis shoes and sandals are not permitted.
  3. Females will wear white caps and gowns. Ladies need to wear light colored dress shoes. Females should plan to wear white or light pastel clothing under their gown. Clothing with a print will tend to bleed through the white gown and affect the quality of pictures.
  4. Due to the fact that our ceremony is a formal ceremony, we do not permit decorating of caps.
  5. All students are provided with a Lakota East medal to wear at graduation.

We understand that there may be additional questions that arise regarding attire and other requirements, and we continue to work through some additional details about the ceremony itself. Our ceremony is a formal ceremony, and the guidelines that have been shared above are consistent with the same standards that have applied in previous years.
