Principal's Message - May 15, 2026

Hello Thunderhawk Families, 

It’s been a big week for our seniors as they wrapped up their final days at Lakota East and came together for their senior meeting, marking the beginning of the end of an incredible journey.

We also enjoyed some outstanding performances at the Spring Choir Concert and Jazz Fest. We hope you had the chance to attend and experience the incredible talent of our student musicians! 

In addition, we are very excited to have received our preliminary OST results and are proud of the hard work our students and staff continue to demonstrate.

Next Week:

• Sunday: Senior Sunset — a special way to close the year, after beginning it together at Senior Sunrise - Click here for details
• Monday: Senior Activities and Underclass Awards (will be livestreamed by our student broadcast team for those who cannot attend)
  • Senior Car Show - 7:30 - 9:00 AM North Parking Lot- Click here for details
  • Parade of Graduates - 9:30 - 11:00 AM
  • Senior Picnic in Stadium- 11:30 - 1:00
  • *NO Entry into the building after 9:30
  • UnderClass Awards at 1:30pm in the gym - adjusted schedule
• Tuesday: Graduation Practice at East- no caps or gowns
  • 9:00-11:30am in the gym
  • Attendance is required to participate in the ceremony!
  • Seniors will receive tickets for Graduation at practice. 
• Wednesday & Thursday: Exams (exam schedule)
• Thursday: Graduation at the Cintas Center at 8:00pm.

As we head into this final stretch, we look forward to celebrating the Class of 2026 and all they’ve accomplished!
