Principal's Message -May 8, 2026

Hello Thunderhawk Families,

As we finish the last full week with our Senior Class, the emotions are definitely setting in. It’s hard to believe how quickly the year has gone, and we’re determined to savor our final two instructional days with our seniors before they begin taking any scheduled exams next week. Seniors will clean out their lockers after their final class or exam, so please plan accordingly.

There will be a mandatory Senior Meeting on Friday, May 15 at 9:00 a.m. for all students participating in graduation and senior activities. Seniors may turn in their Chromebook, charger, and stylus either before or after the meeting. This is an important step as we prepare to celebrate the Class of 2026.

Academically, we kicked off AP testing this week, and we wish all of our students the very best of luck. We also wrapped up OST testing, and we are excited to review the results and recognize our students’ hard work and growth.

Our spring performance season is in full swing as well! Join us for the Spring Band Concert tonight at 7:00 p.m., followed by Jazz Fest tomorrow starting at 5:00 p.m. The Spring Choir Concert will take place on May 14 at 7:00 p.m. We hope to see our THawk community out supporting these talented students.

Have a great weekend,

Matt MacFarlane
