Barb Bossu Volunteer Spirit Award
Please join us in recognizing the incredible volunteers that impact our Lakota East High School community and the Lakota District by nominating someone for the Barb Bossu Volunteer Spirit Award. Deadline to nominate someone is March 3rd.
Barb Bossu was an enthusiastic parent volunteer and the Union Elementary PTA president at the time of her death. The “Barb Bossu Volunteer Spirit Award” was established in 1990 to commemorate her dedication to public education by honoring a volunteer who has positively impacted the entire Lakota District and one volunteer from every school in the district.
The recipients of the “Barb Bossu Volunteer Spirit Award” give of their time unselfishly and represent a positive spirit and dedication toward the betterment of ALL students.
To Nominate a Volunteer for Lakota East High School or the Lakota District:
Complete the volunteer form (below) and email it to: LakotaDPC@gmail.com
OR, simply email LakotaDPC@gmail.com with the name of the volunteer and 3-5 sentences with the reason for the nomination and the impact the volunteer has had on LEHS or Lakota.

Special Thanks
Thank you so much to the PTSO Website Manager, Maggie Panyko, who works year-round to keep our website up to date with information for every event, sale, meeting and more. This is a very busy role, especially as we get ready for all of our spring events, and we couldn’t do it without Maggie’s technical know-how and expert planning! Thank you, Maggie!
