Graduation Information

Graduation Ticket Request Form

  • All students will receive 8 tickets for Graduation at Cintas. Families can request more tickets at the Ticket request link(Link coming soon).
  • The link to order Graduation Tickets will continue to be live until May 14th, but we encourage people to order them early.
  • There is no cost for tickets, but we do have a limit on how many Xavier provides us.
  • For this reason, we will cap student tickets at 20. If you need more than 20 tickets we will take your request into consideration by emailing Mr. MacFarlane (matthew.macfarlane@lakotaonline.com).

Graduation Attire

  1. All participants must wear the official Lakota East Graduation Cap and Gown. These are rental garments which must be returned immediately following our ceremony. Parents are encouraged to take all photos prior to the ceremony.
  2. Males will wear black caps and gowns. Gentlemen should wear a collared dress shirt, dark slacks, and nice shoes. Jeans, shorts, tennis shoes and sandals are not permitted.
  3. Females will wear white caps and gowns. Ladies need to wear light colored dress shoes. Females should plan to wear white or light pastel clothing under their gown. Clothing with a print will tend to bleed through the white gown and affect the quality of pictures.
  4. Due to the fact that our ceremony is a formal ceremony, we do not permit decorating of caps.
  5. All students are provided with a Lakota East medal to wear at graduation.

We understand that there may be additional questions that arise regarding attire and other requirements, and we continue to work through some additional details about the ceremony itself. Our ceremony is a formal ceremony, and the guidelines that have been shared above are consistent with the same standards that have applied in previous years.

  3. Honors Diploma information
    • If you are interested in earning the Honors Diploma, please view our information about the NEW State requirements here. The School Counselors will be working to verify students who are eligible to earn an Honors Diploma. We encourage students to turn in the Honors Diploma form by December 19th to the East Counseling Office if you want to make sure you meet the Honors Diploma requirements.
  4. College Application and Schoolinks
    • Many students have been submitting College Applications and tracking information in Schoolinks! This is a reminder that students must add the college(s) in Schoolinks so that your School Counselor can send your transcript to the college. Link to Schoolinks presentation for help with this process.
      • Students should use OneLogin in to access Schoolinks, then click on College, and then College Applications to list their colleges.
      • After students apply, please continue to check their email that they used to apply and watch for additional information from the college. Some colleges need students to set up account access in order to view the college’s admission decisions.
  5. If you have additional questions about Graduation Requirements or senior items, please reach out to your student’s School Counselor.
