The School Counselors visited all the Senior English classes in September. They went over the college application process and future planning for life beyond high school. Here is the Senior Year Pathway Presentation that students received in these sessions. If you are working on College Applications, we have also put together a College Application checklist to help you organize and work through the process.

 

College Application Help

The School Counselors are here to help you with college applications. We will be available in the Flexible Learning Space on main street during Hawk Time on the following dates in October: 1^st, 22^nd, 23^rd, 29^th, 30^th

Help Sessions for College Applications

 

AP Exam Registration

AP Exams give students the opportunity to earn college credit and demonstrate mastery of college-level coursework while still in high school. Exams are administered in May 2026 and correspond to the AP courses students are enrolled in this year.

Registration for AP Exams at Lakota East High School will be open in Final Forms from October 6 – November 7, 2025.

• Where to Register: Families must register through FINAL FORMS
• Exam Fee: $99 per exam (added to your student’s school fees)
• Late Registration: Incurs an additional $40 fee, per College Board policy
• Canceling an Exam: Canceling after the registration deadline also incurs a $40 fee, per College Board policy
