Parking Applications

Students, if you are parking at Lakota East without a pass, you need to apply immediately for a parking spot.   Students found in violation will be towed at their own expense and if found on school property without a pass will be referred to administration.  Parking spots are FREE!  You can apply for a parking spot online at https://forms.gle/qWwu9hhLV6ao8Exo9  

Class Ring Delivery on March 6th

On Monday, March 6th, Graduate Service will be at Lakota East for Class Ring delivery during all lunches.  Senior Announcements are expected on March 27th.

Senior Solstice

Hey, Seniors! This Thursday--March 9th, from 8:10-9:30 am, come to the cafeteria for the Senior Solstice: Seniors, Snakes and Snacks edition. 

• Enjoy Breakfast with your friends

Butler Tech Program

Butler Tech has introduced a new Senior Only program for next year for Firefighting I & II and the application is now open. New students looking to apply for lottery placement for Senior Firefighting I & II must apply by April 5 deadline. Students may continue to apply for the Senior EMT program. You must be on track to graduate next year to apply for these programs.

Attention Seniors – There are new scholarships posted on Naviance. 

• The Resilience Scholarship will award up to five $1000 scholarships to graduating Lakota School District students who have demonstrated resilience in the face of personal or family adversity. 
• Each year the PTSO awards four (4) scholarships to graduating seniors.  Detailed information regarding the scholarships, along with the applications, is now available in Naviance.

Please bring in copies of any scholarship you are offered to the Counseling Office secretaries, even if you do not plan to accept the award or attend the awarding college. More details are available in the Senior Section on Lakota East’s website and on the TV’s around East.

Senior Yard Signs

The LEHS Senior Yard Signs will be available soon!  Sales for the yard signs will be available on the PTSO website on March 13th. https://easthigh.lakotaonline.com/parent-groups/ptso 

 

Cheer Try-Outs

Lakota East Football and Basketball Cheer tryouts will be held March 28th, 29th and 30th.  There is a mandatory informational meeting on Tuesday, March 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the cafe for all interested cheerleaders and one parent.  Try-out packets are available on the East Athletics website.  

 

Military Commitment Ceremony

Lakota would like to honor our seniors who have made the commitment to serve our country after graduation by enlisting in a branch of the United States military or attending a military academy on April 25, 2023. The ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. at East Freshman School. How to Purchase a Yearbook
 

The 22/23 Lakota East Yearbook is now on sale!  Go to www.yearbookforever.com and enter Lakota East High School, to purchase a yearbook with a credit card, debit card or Paypal.  Yearbooks will be delivered to the buyers home in the Fall of ‘23.
