Students just a reminder: Outside food and drink are not permitted at Lakota East High School.
If you have not applied for a parking spot and are driving you must apply for a spot before driving. The parking spot application for the 23/24 school year is open to all licensed Lakota East students! Students must have their license in order to apply. You will need to apply using your Chromebook, Onelogin and Lakota Email at https://forms.gle/yVQJxkimAJHKUHu6A. All parking passes are FREE!
This Week’s football game theme is Hawaiian.
Pre-sale student tickets for Friday’s East vs. Colerain football game will be available for purchase during all lunches this Thursday and Friday. Pre-sale tickets are $5 and you can pay via cash or credit card. Tickets at the game are $9 so make sure you purchase your ticket at lunch! This Week’s football game theme is USA.
Homecoming tickets are on sale on the hometown ticketing app. Tickets are $25 and guest forms for non-East students will be available in the main office. Homecoming guest forms are due in to the office by 2:00 on Friday, August 22nd and tickets for all students will not be sold after 3:00p.m. And YES, homecoming is outside again this year! If you would like to make song requests for Homecoming, please scan the QR codes hanging around the school. Make sure that the songs you are requesting are appropriate.

Monday - Pajama Day: Dress in your comfiest pj’s or sweats
Tuesday - Y2K Day: Dress like the 2000’s
Wednesday - Barbie vs Ken Day: Dress to impress in your Barbie and Ken Best
Thursday - Dress with your class: Freshman/Sophomore in white, Juniors in gray and seniors in black
Friday - Hawaiian Day: Aloha! Wear your favorite Hawaiian beach attire
Following the pep rally on September 22, our seniors will have their panoramic group picture taken at the stadium around 10:00am. This is the only chance to order the group picture.

Board of Elections Needs Workers
The Butler County Board of Elections (BOE) is preparing for the General Election taking place on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. They need a new group of students to serve as Precinct Election Officials (PEO). Students will make $202.25 and have a new experience to add to their résumés. Students interested in serving as Precinct Election Officials (PEO) must be a senior, 17 years old, a United States Citizen, a Butler County resident, and attend a three-hour training class to work on Election Day.SIGN UP in Mench’s room 203 or email Mench (Tisha.email@example.com) if you are interested.
The Rotary Club of West Chester/Liberty invites all senior-level students at Lakota East to apply for the Student of the Month Scholarship. One $250 scholarship will awarded each month from October through May. The deadline for applications is September 22nd at noon.
