About

Daniel is starting his 7th year at LEHS PTSO, and has been on many PTSOs in the Lakota School District. He is heavily involved in leadership roles in Scouts and has coached many youth sports teams including baseball and basketball; Daniel serves as the LSO Baseball President. He is employed at Nokia as a “super computer nerd” and has three children (two east graduates, and a 10th Grader at East).

Sarah and her husband have two sons in the Lakota District: a 9th grader at East Freshman, and a 6th grader at Independence Elementary. Sarah has always been an active member of her children’s school’s PTO/PTA and was the 2021 Barb Bossu Volunteer Award recipient for Liberty Early Childhood School. Outside of volunteering, Sarah enjoys reading, traveling, and, of course, watching her family in their various activities

Jen is mother to current 11th, 10th and 8th graders at East and Hopewell Junior. She has been an active volunteer at Shawnee ECS, Hopewell Elementary and ECS, and former PTSO president, and was the 2021 Barb Bossu Volunteer Spirit Award winner from Union Elementary. She is currently a DPC Representative and on the PTSO Executive Board at Hopewell Junior.  Jen loves being involved with the Future Hawks Nights to bring the East-feeding schools together for fun nights.

Julie served on the PTSO board of Liberty ECS and then Union Elementary for nine years. In her 12 years with students in the district, she has led Walk-a-thons, Fall Festivals, Hawks for the Cure volleyball fundraisers, and volunteered in many different capacities across multiple buildings. Julie was a Barb Bossu volunteer award winner in 2022, and currently serves as the VP of Fundraising for Lakota East Athletic Boosters in addition to her roles within the Lakota East PTSO. She is a board certified specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy, and works at a private practice outpatient therapy clinic. 

Kathryn two children in the Lakota school district, one at Lakota East, and one at Liberty Junior. She really appreciates the opportunity to volunteer for the schools and with her busy work schedule, finds that volunteering for school events/activities is always a welcoming change of pace. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Jennifer is the proud parent of two East students—a junior and a freshman. She has been an active volunteer across multiple East schools and is best known for her years of service on Hopewell Jr.’s PTSO board and a 2024 Barb Bossu Award Winner. When her kids were younger, she also coached basketball with March Madness, Lakota Thunderbirds, and Upward. Outside of volunteering, Jennifer works full time in digital technology and loves cheering on her teens in Lakota sports—with the family dog often by her side.

Kimberly has an East graduate and East junior, as well as two adult children. Originally from Virginia, Kimberly relocated to Cincinnati over 20 years ago. She is a preschool teacher who loves spending time with her family camping, swimming, hiking, playing card games and doing puzzles.
